This qualified expert has over 20 years of experience in the transportation industry. He previously worked at the New York City Transit in various capacities including Chief Transportation Officer. He was responsible for the training department, managing programs for instructing bus drivers. He currently works as Vice President of Operations for a transportation contractor in New York. His responsibilities include leading operations and safety improvements for locations in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Harlem.

This expert is a certified Director of Safety through the National Committee for Motor Fleet Supervisory Training. He has won a number of awards and is widely recognized in the industry as a leading subject matter expert. He has held numerous top level positions in fleet management, trucking, industry safety, and driver resources. The expert has also been on the boards of several safety committees such as Professional Truck Driving Institute; Truckload Carriers Association Safety Group and American Trucking Association Council of Safety Supervisors.

This highly qualified expert has been conducting research and teaching about cognitive factors related to driving for over 25 years. He has has published numerous peer- reviewed articles and chapters on issues of vision and attention including their relationship to driving. This expert's work has been highlighted by national and international press such as the BBC, NPR, Katie with Katie Couric, Rock Center, and the New York Times. He is part of efforts and the state and national level to reduce distracted driving. This expert works with groups including the National Safety Council, LifeSavers, FocusDriven and We Save Lives to provide clear, compelling and consistently well-received talks about the science of distracted driving. This expert earned his PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of California.

This expert has almost two decades of first-hand commercial driving experience. He has over 15 years of experience driving semi-trucks, boasting over 1.5 million miles accident-free. After receiving his AS from Shasta Junior College, he worked as a security guard for North State Security until beginning his career in the commercial driving industry as a bus driver for the Redding Area Bus Authority. He has served as a truck driver for companies such as Swift Transportation, Bettendorf Enterprises, Schneider National Carriers, and Giltner Trucking. He also served as a training engineer for Schneider National Carriers. Currently, this expert serves as a truck driver for a transportation firm based in Utah.
