This case involves a 30-year-old female who was tasered repeatedly by a police department in Wyoming. On the date of the incident in question, the woman was stopped for a minor moving violation, at which point she was asked to step out of her vehicle. The woman, who is a veteran and a police officer herself, was tasered without warning, and alleged that the police officers were excessive in their use of force, given her compliant nature and willingness to obey their orders in advance of using the taser. The woman suffers a host of complications as a result of the taser use, and requires significant medical treatment due to injuries sustained. It was alleged that the use of force by the officer in this case was excessive given the situation.

inline imageI have served as an expert more over a police practices professional. All of the cases I have provided written reports are "excessive force" or have some component of "excessive force." I have published/lectured and trained police officers on use of force.
