I served as a full-time SAP consultant for 11 years. As a consultant, my primary responsibilities were custom SAP programming, configuring SAP, and managing SAP programmers and administrators. For the last 15 years, I have been in academia. I am a professor of industrial administration and information systems management at a prestigious research university. I have also worked at one other research university. In my academic positions, I have served as the coordinator with the SAP University Alliance. Essentially, SAP provides its systems and training materials to students and professors, and I manage that relationship. I have experience working with virtually all functional areas of SAP. I have extensive experience training new users. As a consultant, I conducted both formal and informal training in the corporate environment, and I now do it in the academic classroom environment.
