Dr. Woodrow Hartzog

Dr. Woodrow Hartzog has over 15 years of experience in Internet security and data privacy. He obtained his BA in journalism and mass communication from Samford University and his JD from the Samford University Cumberland School of Law, before receiving his LLM in intellectual property from The George Washington University and his PhD in mass communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Today, he is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Future of Privacy Forum, the Electronic Privacy Information Center, Artificial Intelligence, Ethics, and Society, and the International Association of Privacy Professionals. He is also very active in academia, having researched, presented, and published extensively on topics related to Internet security and data privacy.
