Tran

Tran earned a BS in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas, Austin and an MS in electrical and computer sciences from the University of California, Berkeley before earning his PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas, Austin. He formerly served as a logic design engineer at IBM, a logic design lead at AMD, an engineering technical lead at Ross Technology, Inc., and an engineering manager at MIPS Technologies, Inc. where he established the CPU verification team and methodology. He has direct experience developing CPUs in X86, SPARC, and MIPS architectures. Currently, he serves as the senior director of engineering and as a CPU product engineer at a leading mobile technology company in California.
