Dr. Tamer Malik, MD earned his MD from Ain Shams University Medical School. After completing his internship and residency in general surgery at SUNY Downstate University, this expert went on to complete a fellowship in abdominal solid organ transplant surgery and hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery at University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is also active in his field as a member of numerous medical societies including the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. In addition, he has published and taught extensively on HPB and transplant surgeries . Formerly, he held roles as a transplant surgeon at Charleston Area Medical Center and Clinton Memorial Hospital.
