Dr. Steven Shin

Dr. Steven Shin has over 15 years of experience as an orthopaedic surgeon, specializing in hand surgery. He received his BS in biology and economics, his MS in medical science, and his MD all from Brown University. He then went on to receive an MBA in healthcare management from Johns Hopkins University. This expert completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the NYU School of Medicine and a fellowship in hand and upper limb surgery at Stanford University. Today, he is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and hand surgery. This expert is active in his field as a member of multiple organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Orthopaedic Association. He has also published over 60 articles and has given over 150 presentations on orthopaedic related topics. He previously served as a clinical instructor of orthopaedic surgery at the Keck School of Medicine, as well as a hand and upper limb surgeon and the director of hand surgery at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic. Currently, this expert is an associate professor of orthopaedic surgery and the director of the orthopaedic center at a hospital in California, while also serving as a hand consultant for multiple sports teams in the area.
