Dr. Richard Neville has 31 years of experience in the field of General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He earned his BS from the University of Notre Dame and his MD from the University of Maryland Baltimore. After completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at Georgetown University, he completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at University Hospital. He completed his Postdoctoral Training in Vascular Disease and Device Development at the National Institutes of Health. Today, this expert is board certified in Vascular Surgery. Formerly, he served as Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center, as Chief of General Surgery, as the Associate Program Director of the Vascular Fellowship Program, and as the Medical Director of the Noninvasive Vascular Laboratory at Georgetown University Hospital. He also served as the Medical Director at Inova Fairfax Hospital and as Adjunct Faculty of Bioengineering at George Mason University. Currently, he serves as Vice-Chairman of Surgery at Inova Fairfax Hospital, the Associate Director at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute, and as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at George Washington University. He also serves as the Director of Vascular Services at INOVA Health System.
