Prof. Yan Huang earned her BS in computer science from Peking University and her PhD in computer science from the University of Minnesota. She is highly active in her field having held multiple chair and board positions of various committees and has numerous academic publications. Formerly, she served as the associate dean of research and graduate studies at the University of North Texas as well as an associate professor of computer science and engineering. Currently, she is a professor of computer science and engineering as well as the associate dean of research and graduate studies at a Texas university.
