Ms. Chithalina Coleman

Ms. Chithalina Coleman received her BA in ethnic studies from the University of California at Berkeley and her MA in early childhood special education from George Washington University. She is licensed in special education: non-categorical P-12 and early childhood special education PK-3rd. She formerly served as an elementary special education teacher for DC Public Schools before moving to positions as an education consultant and advocate at both James E. Brown & Associates, PLLC and D.C. Disability Law Group, P.C. She also spent time at The Kingsbury Center where she served as the director of admissions & tutoring and as the director of compliance & admissions. This expert currently serves as an education consultant at a special education consultancy in the greater DC area where she collaborates with special education attorneys on litigation matters and drafts compensatory education plans.
