Mr. Tim Oey

Mr. Tim Oey has over 30 years of experience in bicycle safety. He obtained his BA in chemistry from Harvard University, before beginning his career in the field. Today, he is an active member of the Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition and the Friends of Stevens Creek Trail. This expert previously served as the vice president of rides at Charles River Wheelers, as the forum leader of BikeNet, as the bicycle safety and pedestrian advisory commissioner for the City of Sunnyvale, as a coach administrator at AYSO, and as the bicycle training specialist for the Santa Clara Department of Public Health. Throughout the course of his career, he has planned and executed over 100 public bike rides. He is currently the bicycle and pedestrian advisory commissioner for a city and the president of a non-profit raising awareness and support for the completion of a trail in northern California.
