Mr. Tim Dickson

Mr. Tim Dickson has over twenty years of experience in the field of structural engineering. His design and evaluation work includes buildings and bridges constructed of reinforced concrete (conventional, prestressed and post-tensioned), structural steel, masonry and timber. He has also designed underpinning systems for the foundations of residential and commercial properties, as well as earth retention systems using soil nail walls, segmental retaining walls and sheet piles. He has also performed numerous investigations for the evaluation of property loss and construction defect claims, including structural failure/collapse, fire/storm damage assessment, water infiltration, roofing failure, building façade evaluations and construction problems. He has had technical papers published in several professional journals, and has also given presentations at national conferences on defective construction in residential construction.
