Mr. Steven Staveley

Mr. Steven Staveley has over 35 years of experience in law enforcement, during which he served as the Chief of Police for 4 different departments in California. Throughout his career, he was known as a reliable leader with a track record of being brought in to facilitate positive changes in problem departments. In his role as the Director of Law Enforcement with the California Department of Justice he reported directly to the Attorney General. Currently, he works as a Lead Instructor at a driving school in California where he developed and teaches the Emergency Vehicles Operators Course. This program is focused on teaching CHP cadets and other instructors of EVOC courses. The program has a success rate of over 95% for cadets that go on to take the CHP EVOC tests, known as the most difficult EVOC in the country.
