Mr. Richard Stowell Jr. has over 35 years of experience in Aviation. He earned his BSME from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Today, he is certified as a Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor, and Remote Pilot by the Federal Aviation Administration. He has logged 10,000 hours of flight time with 9,000 hours of flight instruction given and is credited for developing, PARE, an acronym that helps pilots remember the sequence of control inputs necessary for spin recovery. Formerly, he served as a Lead Flight Facilitator for Take Flight Workshops. Currently, he owns Rich Stowell Consulting where he serves as an Author, Speaker, and Consultant on Aviation matters, specializing in spin, emergency maneuver, aerobatic, and tailwheel training.
