Mr. Mark De Cocinis

Mr. Mark De Cocinis has 22 years of experience in the vertical transportation field. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Widener University and is pursuing a MS in civil engineering in addition to his current roles. He is certified as an elevator inspector (CEI) and in OSHA 30, and he is affiliated with numerous professional societies in his field, including the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Formerly, he served as a project engineer and account executive with Amtech Elevator Services, a branch manager and repair operations manager with ThyssenKrupp Elevator Corporation, a modernization sales associate with Otis Elevator Company, and a branch manager for KONE, Inc. Currently, this expert is based in Pennsylvania as the president of a large elevator and escalator consulting company which is a division of a well-known global infrastructure and engineering firm. He regularly coordinates elevator/escalator design and construction-phase services and is responsible for maintenance audits, inspections, and proposal reviews.
