Mr. Juan Rivera

Mr. Juan Rivera in maritime operations has over two decades of experience. He received his BS from Excelsior College and his MA in homeland security from the American Military University. He holds certifications in a number of USGC specialties such as vessel and facility security planning and foreign freight vessel examination. He served in the US Coast Guard for 17 years and worked as a chief logistics manager for the USCG surface logistics center, as chief port state control, and as a domestic marine inspector. He won several awards during his service including two medals of commendation. Currently, he is the principal surveyor and president of a maritime consultancy in South Florida.
