Mr. John Koshak has over 35 years of experience in the vertical transportation conveyance industry, focused on elevator maintenance. He is a certified elevator inspector and elevator consultant through the National Association of Elevator Safety Authorities and the International Association of Elevator Consultants, respectively. Also, he frequently publishes on topics in his field with over 32 articles in a variety of industry publications. This expert is active in multiple industry associations in his field and formerly served as the chairman of the Elevator and Escalator Safety Foundation, and the chairman of the NAEC Codes and Standards Committee for the National Association of Elevator Contractors. He formerly held a variety of positions in elevator maintenance before starting his own consulting firms focused on vertical transportation maintenance protocols, forensic services, education, and compliance.
