Mr. Edward Gillespie earned his BS in civil engineering from Manhattan College before completing his MBA from the New York Institute of Technology. In addition to being an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors, he is a licensed professional engineer in New York State as well as a certified home inspector and project management professional. Formerly, he served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and then as the director of engineering and construction with Verizon. He is currently an adjunct professor for a liberal arts college in New York where he teaches graduate and undergraduate level courses in project management. He is also the current vice president of a home inspection and engineering corporation as well as an engineering consultant for residential/small commercial building inspections in New York.
