Mr. D C Agrawal

Mr. D C Agrawal has over 45 years of experience in the rail and transportation industry. After earning a BS in mechanical engineering and an MS in industrial engineering, he completed a program in urban transportation management at Northeastern University and the executive management program at the University of Pennsylvania. HE served as a manager in the financial planning and analysis department for the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, during which time he served on the SEPTA labor negotiations team. He then worked with the New Jersey Department of Transportation as the assistant director in the office of policy and analysis. He worked as the assistant executive director of corporate strategy, policy, and contracts at NJ Transit, where he negotiated labor agreements, managed rail operations, and worked directly in FRA regulations. Currently, this expert is the president and owner of a railroad consultancy in NJ, where he provides strategic and operational advisory services to such agencies as the FRA, DART, Metro-North, and Maryland Transit Administration.
