He earned his BA in Psychology at University of Alabama and his M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling both from the University of Alabama. Today, he is board certified as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification and as a Certified Life Care Planner by the International Commission on Health Care Certification. Formerly, he served as a Consultant of Vocational Rehabilitation at North Mississippi Medical Center Hand Clinic and Industrial Work Center and as the Owner of and Life Care Planner at David Stewart & Associates, Inc and. Currently, he serves as the Owner and Director at Ascendant Consulting, Inc.
