Maureen Dempsey, MD

Maureen Dempsey, MD earned her BS in nursing from Georgia State University and is a licensed registered nurse. She is certified in inpatient obstetrical nursing and electronic fetal monitoring. She is active in her field as a member of professional associations, notably serving as a fetal monitoring instructor for the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. She formerly served in various roles obstetric nursing, including in both the labor and delivery and high-risk pregnancy units at Gwinnett Medical Center. She also served as an antepartum nurse at Women's Hospital. She is currently a clinical high-risk case manager at a women's hospital in Louisiana.
