Dr. Allen R Sondej

This law enforcement expert has over 30 years of experience in his field. He earned his BS in criminal justice, security, and safety administration from New Jersey City University before earning a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law and a DSc in civil security from New Jersey City University. He is very active in his field as a member of several professional societies including being a board member for the New Jersey Public Safety Accreditation Coalition, the commissioner of the New Jersey Association of Chiefs of Police, Law Enforcement Accreditation, and the vice president of the Law Enforcement Lawyers Association of New Jersey. In addition, he has published 3 peer-reviewed articles and is a recipient of the Chief Harry Wilde Academic Achievement Award. He formerly served as a police officer for the Township of South Brunswick and worked his way to being the Division Commander of the police department. In addition, he previously served as the director of training for the New Jersey Auxiliary Police Officers Association and was a private consultant for safety and security needs. He currently serves as an instructor for a state police department, an adjunct professor in national and civil security, and an attorney of counsel for a law firm in New Jersey.
