Dr. William Edwards, MD

Dr. William H. Edwards Jr. has over 40 years of experience in Orthopaedic Surgery, specializing in Non-Operative Spinal Care. He earned his BA in Mathematics from the University of Texas Austin and his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at both the University of Mississippi Medical Center and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with additional training in Pediatric Orthopedics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. He also completed a fellowship in Scoliosis and Spinal Disorders at the Twin Cities Spine Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as an Orthopaedic Surgeon at a Private Practice. He then served as an Orthopaedic Spine Consultant at South Texas Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery Associate and at Vail-Summit Orthopaedics & Neurosurgery. Currently, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and a Physician at UT Health.
