Dr. Wilbur B. Bowne has 22 years of experience in the field of Surgical Oncology. He earned his BS from Fordham University and his MD from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. After completing a residency in Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, he went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a fellowship in Laparoscopic Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Today, Dr. Bowne is board-certified in Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as Chief of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine, as an Associate Professor and Professor at Drexel University College of Medicine, and as the Chief of the Division of Surgical Oncology at Hahnemann University Hospital. Currently, this expert serves as a Professor of Surgery and Director of the Peritoneal Surface Malignancy Program at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and as an Attending Surgeon at Thomas Jefferson Health.
