Dr. Tomasz Beer, MD, FACP

Dr. Tomasz M. Beer has 25 years of experience in the field of Medical Oncology. He earned his BA in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his MD from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. After completing both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology, all at OHSU Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Medical Oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Deputy Director of OSHU Knight Cancer Institute and as the Chief Medical Officer of the Center for Early Detection Advanced Research within OSHU Knight Cancer Institute. He was also the Grover C. Bagby Endowed Chair for Prostate Cancer Research at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine. He currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Multi-Cancer Early Detection for Exact Sciences Corporation and as a Part-Time Professor of Hematology and Medical Oncology at the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the Prostate Cancer Research Program at OSHU Knight Cancer Institute and an Attending Physician on the Oncology Consult Service at Portland VA Medical Center and OSHU Knight Cancer Institute.
