Dr. Todd Basche

Dr. Todd Basche has over thirty years of experience in the field of technology and has developed and managed award-winning products in both the hardware and software domains. He received his BSEE at Northeastern University and is the named inventor on 33 hardware and software patents. In both 2017 and 2018, he was awarded “Best of Show” at the influential Consumer Electronics Show. He has served as the director of system for products for startup at MIPS Computer System, the co-founder and director of system development at Stellar Computer, the director of desktop and graphic systems at Sun Microsystems and the co-founder and vice president of engineer at Visioneer. He has also served as the general manager of employee workplace automatic and the division vice president of software research and development at Remedy Corp and as the co-founder and SVP of software engineering and product development at Logictier where he sold the SaaS model to the Sony Digital Pictures and the Salt Lake City Olympics. He then went to Apple Computer as their vice president of application software where he led the development for the i-App suite of products: iTunes, Iphoto, iMovie, iDvd, and Keynote. Afterward, he served as the Executive VP of Emerging Business at Tivo Corp/Rovi, the CEO, and co-founder at Wordlock, Inc, and as the vice president of client software and new hardware at Dell Computer where he led product planning and marketing for software on all endpoint devices including all PCs, Chromebooks tablets and wearables. Prior to his current role, he was the executive VP of word products at Axon where he created new products, including intelligent body cameras and in-car cameras. Currently, he is the CEO and consultant at a private technology consulting firm in California where he works with companies on medical and consumer devices, as well as conducts roadmap planning and technology evaluations.
