Dr. Timothy Sanders

Dr. Timothy Sanders is board-certified in both pediatrics and neonatal-perinatal medicine. He earned his BA in biology and psychology from Franklin and Marshall College, his PhD in neurobiology from the University of Chicago, and his MD from Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at the Boston Combined Residency Program and his fellowship in neonatology and cardiovascular research at the University of California at San Francisco. This expert is active in his field as a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the author of 11 peer-reviewed articles. Formerly, this expert served as a neonatal hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente Medical Group San Francisco and as an adjunct clinical instructor of pediatrics and neonatology at the University of California, San Francisco. In addition, this expert served as an assistant professor of pediatrics and neonatology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, where he was also the fellowship director for neonatology. Currently, this expert is an assistant professor of pediatrics and neonatology and the neonatology fellowship director at a university-affiliated children's hospital in Illinois, as well as an assistant professor of neuroscience, quantitative biology, and human behavior at a university in Illinois.
