Dr. Thomas Sferra has over 25 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology. He earned his B.S. in Combined Sciences from Youngstown State University and his M.D. from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital and The Ohio State University, he pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at the same institution. Dr. Sferra is currently the Division Chief and Martin and Betty Rosskamm Chair in Pediatric Gastroenterology at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. He also serves as the Director of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship Program at Case Western Reserve University and the Medical Director of the Pediatric Liver Transplantation Program at UH Transplant Institute.
