Dr. Thomas Piemonte has 41 years of experience in the field of Interventional Cardiology. He earned his BA in English Language and Literature from the College of the Holy Cross and his MD from New York Medical College. After completing both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, all at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. Today, this expert is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Formerly, this expert served as the Chief of Cardiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Needham, as the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, and as the Chief Medical Officer of Cardiosolutions, Inc. He currently serves as an Interventional Cardiologist at the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center and at the Heart and Vascular Center within Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, where he is also Director of the Structural Heart Program and the Director of Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine. Moreover, he is also a Clinical Instructor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine.
