Dr. Susan E. Coffin has over 30 years of experience in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She earned her BA in History from Williams College, her MD from the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine, and her MPH in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. After completing her residency in Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital, she went on to complete a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatric Infectious Diseases. Formerly, this expert served as the Associate Director of the Fellowship Program and an Associate Division Chief of Infectious Diseases at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She also served as the Medical Director of the Healthcare-Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance Program at the Philadelphia Department of Public Health. Currently, this expert serves as an Attending Physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases, an Associate Hospital Epidemiologist, and the Distinguished Chair of Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She also serves as a Professor of Pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.
