Dr. Steven M. Schwartz has 26 years of experience in the field of Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He earned his BA in Political Science from Northwestern University, his MS in Biostatistics and Clinical Research Methods from the University of Michigan, and his MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Pediatrics at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, he went on to a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at Boston Children's Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, and Pediatric Critical Care. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Co-Director of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Toronto and as the Head of the Division of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine, as well as the Interim Chief in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children.
