Dr. Steven Harwin, MD, FACS

Dr. Steven F. Harwin has 49 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery with expertise in Adult Reconstructive Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his BS from St. John's University and his MD from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University. He completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Formerly, he served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as the Chief of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at St Barnabas Hospital, and as the Surgical Director of the New York Center for Bloodless Medicine and Surgery at Mount Sinai Health System. Currently, he serves as a Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as the Chief of Advanced Technology of Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Mount Sinai West, and as the Chief of Adult Reconstructive Surgery and Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasty and the Director of the New York International Learning Center for Total Joint Replacement at Mount Sinai Beth Israel.
