Dr. Steven Glassman, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Steven D. Glassman has 32 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his BA in Chemistry from Princeton University and his MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing his internship and residency in General Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, he went on to complete his other residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at New York - Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia and his fellowship in Spine Surgery at Norton Leatherman Spine Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Formerly, he held roles as an Assistant Professor and an Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Spine Surgeon and Medical Director at Norton Leatherman Spine Center and as a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He also serves as a Research Advisor at Proprio, Inc.
