Dr. Steven Sparr, MD, PhD

Dr. Steven Sparr has 34 years of experience in the field of Neurology. He earned his BS in Aeronautical Engineering and MS in Astronautics from the California Polytechnic State University. He completed his MD from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University at Buffalo. He also completed his Ph.D. in Physics at New York University and in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of California Berkeley. After completing his residencies in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center and in Neurology at Jacobi Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Neurology at Burke Health and Rehabilitation Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Neurology and Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles as an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology and as the Director of the Residency Training Program in Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Clinical Neurology, as an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine, and as the Medical Student Clerkship Director in Neurology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He also works as a Physician at Maimonides Medical Center.
