Dr. Steven Drexler, MD

Dr. Steven Drexler, MD has over 20 years of experience in the field of neuropathology. He earned his BA in chemistry at Cornell University before earning his MS and his MD at New York University. Following the completion of his degrees, he pursued an internship in neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania. He subsequently completed a neurosurgical residency at the Brooklyn State University of New York and an additional residency in anatomic pathology at the State University of New York in Stonybrook. Today, this expert is board certified in anatomic pathology, neuropathology, and clinical informatics. He maintains memberships with the College of American Pathologists, the American Society of Clinical Pathology, and the America Association of Neuropathologists. He is a well-published contributor to academia boasting an extensive record of presentations and journals. This expert has worked as an assistant professor for the New York University Long Island School of Medicine. Additionally, he has experience as a pathologist for both New Island Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center as well as a clinical assistant professor at the New York University Long Island School of Medicine. Currently, he is a clinical assistant professor at a top-ranked medical school, the chief of anatomic pathology at a well-known hospital, and a clinical instructor at a state university in New York.
