Dr. Siamak Daneshmand, MD

Dr. Siamak Daneshmand, MD has over 10 years of experience in urology. He received his BS in microbiology and molecular genetics from UCLA, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then earned his MD from UC Davis, where he was a member of the AOA Honor Medical Society. He completed two residencies at the University of Southern California, the first in general surgery and the second in urology. He subsequently completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Southern California. This expert is board-certified in urology. He is active in his field as a member of the American Urologic Association and the Society of Urologic Oncology. He is also highly involved in research, having authored hundreds of peer-reviewed journal articles and presenting at numerous urology conferences. His former positions include clinical instructor of urology at USC, as well as associate professor of surgery and the acting chief of urologic oncology at Oregon Health & Science University. Current, this expert is part of the faculty at a distinguished medical school in California, serving as an associate professor of urology, the director of clinical research, and the director of urologic oncology. He also serves as part of the clinical faculty for two university-affiliated medical centers and a children's hospital in California.
