Dr. Shilpa Jain, MBBS

This board-certified anatomic pathologist specializes in gastrointestinal and liver pathology. She received her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College and her MD from Lady Hardinge Medical College before completing a residency in anatomical and clinical pathology from New York Medical College. Afterward, she completed her gastrointestinal and liver pathology fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is active in her field as a member of the Rodger C. Haggit Gastrointestinal Pathology Society and Texas Society of Pathologists, sponsorship chair of the Houston Society of Clinical Pathologists, and ambassador for the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. This expert is an author on numerous peer-reviewed publications and a frequent presenter at pathology conferences. She was formerly a pathology and pathophysiology instructor at New York Medical College. Currently, she serves as an assistant professor of pathology and immunology at a major medical school in Houston, Texas.
