Dr. Shigang Chen

Dr. Shigang Chen has two decades of experience in the field of computer networking. He earned his BS in computer science from the University of Science and Technology of China and his MS and PhD in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Association for Computing Machinery and has developed 13 patents throughout the course of his career. He previously served as a software engineer for Cisco Systems and as an associate professor of computer and information science at the University of Florida. This expert is currently the associate director of the CTSI Data Coordinating Center and a professor of computer and information science at a university in Florida.
