Dr. Sherry Donaworth

Dr. Sherry Donaworth has over 40 years of experience in various nursing positions. She earned a diploma in nursing from the Cincinnati Public School of Practical Nursing and an associate's degree in nursing from Northern Kentucky University before completing her bachelor's of nursing, master's in nurse practitioner studies, and doctor of nursing practice at the University of Cincinnati. He is licensed as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner in the state of Ohio. As a nurse practitioner, her focus has been in both family medicine and adult advanced care. She is very active in her field as a member of numerous professional organizations including the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and the Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses to name a few. Before starting her career as a nurse practitioner, her previous nursing positions include LPN and RN at Mercy Hospital as well as critical care nurse at Favorite Nurse Agency, University Hospital, and Jewish Hospital. As a nurse practitioner, she has held roles at the Univerity Hospital, Evercare, Take Care Health System, and the Health Resource Center. She is currently a clinically active nurse practitioner in the cardiology division at a university-affiliated hospital and an associate professor of clinical nursing at a public research university in Cincinnati.
