Dr. Shelly K. Weiss has 24 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Neurology. She earned her BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Western Ontario and her MD from the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University. After completing a residency in Pediatrics at The Hospital for Sick Children, she went on to complete a fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and another fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at The Hospital for Sick Children. Today, this expert is certified in Neurology and Pediatrics through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Formerly, she served as Project Director of the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Brain & Mental Health and as the Co-Director of the Sleep Disorders Clinic at The Hospital for Sick Children. She was also an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Neurology at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. She currently serves as a Professor of Pediatric Neurology at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and as a Project Investigator in the Garry Hurvitz Centre for Brain & Mental Health at The Hospital for Sick Children, where she also serves as a Staff Physician. Moreover, she is also an Associate Staff Physician for the University Health Network.
