Dr. Scott Thompson, MD

Dr. Scott W. Thompson has 23 years of experience in the field of Otolaryngology, specializing in Neurotology and Otology. He earned his BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from the University of California San Diego, his MS in Anatomy from the Hahnemann University Graduate School, and his MD from the Hahnemann University School of Medicine. After completing a residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in Otology and Neurotology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Today, this expert is board-certified in Neurotology and Otolaryngology. Formerly, this expert served as a Physician at the Midland Ear Nose & Throat Clinic and as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Arnold School of Public Health. He was also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Public Health. He currently serves as a Member of the Cochlear Implant Team at the Arnold School of Public Health, as a Partner and Physician at Carolina Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, and as the Medical Director of the Palmetto Surgery Center.
