After completing his internship at Hennepin County Medical Center, he went on to complete his residency in Radiology and fellowship in Interventional Radiology at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion. Formerly, he held roles as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California San Francisco and as the Medical Director and Chief of the Division of Interventional Radiology in the Department of Radiology at North Memorial Medical Center. Currently, he serves as the President of Minneapolis Radiology Associates and Minneapolis Vascular Physicians.
