Dr. Sang Lee, MD, FASCRS , FACS

Dr. Sang W. Lee has 19 years of experience in the field of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and his MD from the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He completed both an internship and residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a research fellowship in Laparoscopic Physiology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Additionally, he completed fellowships in Laparoscopic Colon and Rectal Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery, respectively, at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in both Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Attending Surgeon at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and as a Surgeon at Palmdale Regional Center. He was also the Vice Chief of Colon and Rectal Surgery at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Surgery at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He currently serves as the Chief of the Colon and Rectal Surgery Division, as a Clinical Professor of Surgery, and as the Charles W. and Carolyn Costello Chair in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He is also an Attending Surgeon at Keck Hospital of USC.
