Dr. Ryan Guffey, MD

Dr. Ryan Guffey, MD earned his BS from the University of Michigan and his MD from Wayne State University. After completing an internship at Sinai Grace Hospital, he went on to complete a prestigious residency at Emory University Hospital and a fellowship in regional anesthesia and acute pain at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also active in his field as a member of numerous medical societies including the American Society of Anesthesiologists Committee on Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia Committee on Research, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, and the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. In addition, he has published 12 journal articles and book chapters. Formerly, he serves as a clinical instructor of anesthesiology at Washington University. He currently holds the role of assistant professor of anesthesiology at a top medical school in Missouri.
