Dr. Rosalyn Abbott

Dr. Rosalyn Abbott has over 10 years of experience in biomedical engineering. She received her BS and MS in biomedical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and then went on to the University of Vermont to complete her PhD in bioengineering. She is an active member of numerous professional societies including the American Society for Engineering Education and the American Association for the Advancement of Science and has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles. Previously, she has served as a biomedical engineer for MicroCHIPS, a research fellow in the department of neurological sciences and mechanical engineering at the University of Vermont, and a postdoctoral fellow of biomedical engineering at Tufts University. Currently, she is an assistant professor of biomedical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University.
