Dr. Ronald A. Sacher has 52 years of experience in the field of Hematology. He earned his BS in Physiology from the University of the Witwatersrand and his MBBCh from the University of the Witwatersrand. After completing his residency in Hematology at the McMaster University Medical Centre, he went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology at the Georgetown University Medical Center. Formerly, he served as Director of Hoxworth Blood Center, Vice President and Provost of Academic Affairs at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center, and Professor of Clinical Transfusion and Transplantation Science at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center. Currently, he serves as a Clinician and Hematologist at the Barrett Cancer Center at the University of Cincinnati Physicians, as an Emeritus Director of Hoxworth Blood Center, and as a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center.
