Dr. Roberta B. Ness has 32 years of experience in the field of Epidemiology. She earned her BS in Microbiology from the University of Maryland Global Campus, her MD from Weill Medical College Cornell University, and her MPH in Epidemiology from Columbia University. After completing her internship and residency at Bellevue Hospital, she went on to complete a research fellowship at Public Health at Columbia University. Previously, she was the Founding Director of the Center for Innovation Generation and the Dean of The University of Texas School of Public Health where she also held the M. David Low Chair of Public Health. She was also the Vice President of Innovation at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and held the James W. Rockwell Professorship in Public Health, serving as a Professor of Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology at The University of Texas School of Public Health. Currently, she serves as an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at the Colorado School of Public Health.
