Dr. Robert M. Coben has 31 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology. He completed his BA in Biochemistry from Bowdoin College and his MD from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. After completing both an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Drexel University College of Medicine, he went on to complete fellowships in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, as well as Advanced Endoscopy at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Today, he is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as an Associate Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and as the Medical Director of Jefferson Digestive Health at Inspira. He currently serves as the Director of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship Program, as the Anthony J DiMarino, Jr., MD Professor of Medicine, and as the Interim Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He is also a Physician with Inspira Health Network and at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
