Dr. Robert D. Steiner has 31 years of experience in the fields of Pediatrics and Medical Genetics. He earned his BS in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin Madison and his MD from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. After completing both an internship and a residency in Pediatrics at Children's Hospital Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Medical Genetics at the University of Washington Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Clinical Biochemical Genetics, Clinical Genetics and Genomics, and Pediatrics. Formerly, this expert served as Chief Medical Officer of Acer Therapeutics Inc. and as Executive Director of the Marshfield Clinic Research Institute. He currently serves as Hospital Staff at UW Health University Hospital and American Family Children's Hospital. He is also a Medical Consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Chief Medical Officer of PreventionGenetics LLC, and the Principal of Steiner Biomed, LLC. Additionally, he is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetics and Metabolism at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, a Physician-Investigator at Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, a Medical Geneticist at Marshfield Medical Center, and a Biochemical Geneticist for Marshfield Clinic Health System, Inc. He is an Affiliate Professor at the OHSU School of Medicine, as well.
