Dr. Robert McGuire, MD, FAAOS

Dr. Robert A. McGuire, Jr. has years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery. He earned his MD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham Heersink School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, he went on to complete a fellowship at the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine and another fellowship at Nicklaus Children's Hospital. Today, this expert is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Formerly, this expert held roles as the Director of the Orthopeadic Surgery Residency Program at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He was also the M. Beckett Howorth Professor and Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Currently, he serves as a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
